I love Uniqlo, but their collaborations are pretty hit-or-miss—which holds true, alas, for their most current one. I do like this tee, though.

I went thru a Marimekko bedding phase, and I still like some of their household items, but agree on this. Altho the totes are kind of fun and the polka dot canvas sneakers made me smile… until I remembered that in my (x-large) size they’d look like clown shoes.
Ah, a wise reminder for me, Candy!
I liked the polka dot totes––they look like good beach bags. Everything else…meh…
How underwhelming 🙁 I don’t like one thing there.
Huh, I’m pretty thrilled with some of the tops, particularly that blue one. Uniqlo tends to be cut kind of boxy and Marimekko’s own clothing line is seriously boxy too, so this seems like a natural fit to me. But I can get a boxy wild print tee for $14.99 rather than $149!!
They are $14.90.
My first movie in a movie theater was Yellow Submarine. This takes me back.
totally agree -i was at Uniqlo just a few hours ago & it’s a miss, which is disappointing.
Better in theory, rather than practice, perhaps.
Whoa. I am a huge fan of crazy prints and bright colors, but this stuff is too wacky even for me. It’s like kindergarten on steroids. The dresses and pants in particular are just…wow.
It should have been so much better. As it is, many of the clothes are unwearable.
The Jill Sander collaboration was the last Uniglo experience that I found interesting (still own many pieces from that line)Most of the new partnerships scream cartoon time to me.
