My confinement wardrobe from the waist up is composed almost entirely of button-downs these days: even if I’m wearing my shlumpiest sweats, they make me feel marginally put-together when it comes time to make FaceTime and Zoom calls. One of the brands I like best is Xirena—this white top is a prime example of what they do well: it’s lightweight and nicely slouchy, with good details.
I also like Frank & Eileen a lot—this shirt is on the sturdier side, and is nicely tailored.
The brand Rails has a ton of button-downs, and I’m partial to this pink gauze number.
I love the oversized (but not sloppy) proportions of this one, from Stateside.
And if I’m in the mood to spend on something special, I head on over to Nili Lotan: the tuxedo details on this crisp shirt are just aces.
