The cleanest, thinnest (like, thin enough to layer under a blazer) perfect little wool-and-silk-blend cardigan. An investment, but it is going to pay off handsomely on the cost-per-wear front, I feel it. I am in fact am wearing it as I type.
This super-soft scarf has one of the best prints I’ve seen in a while—and an unlikely but totally winning color palette.
I can’t find any archival photos to back up the following assertion, but this strikes me as the kind of striped tee Jane Birkin might have worn in the 70s.
I’m loving that black sweater up top 🙂

I so gushy love everything from Zero+Maria Cornejo….does it ever go on sale?
I’ve been using everlane as affordable alternative…
Yes, she does – and they are a wonder to behold (I say this as someone who has only ever bought stuff from her on sale).
Well, if you say it’s a nice sweater, then of course I believe you.
But I don’t understand the thinking behind that photo, and frankly I was hoping you’d gotten the pants! Dropped shoulders — why? I am not smart enough for this clothing.
You, being very clever again! Love it!
To take a different turn…
I have purchased two of her knit tops in lovely condition and very nicely up cycled on a popular site that I won’t name.
(Sometimes very neat women spend more than I am able on beautiful clothing and then quickly decide they are finished with it…)
Well I do like her fashion gestalt, especially those complicatedly draped dresses. (And I’m sure this is nice too, I just don’t get the picture.) I buy secondhand too, in fact right now I am looking at eyeglass frames. As usual, what I want is *not* in style. Eeesh.
I want/need to have them all!
I totally “get” the need for the sweater by Maria Cornejo. After reading the profile on her, it’s a solidarity move.
