Such a perfect little skirt arrived from Everlane today: not too A-line, not too straight, for maximum flattering-ness. And it’s 60 bucks!
I do not need any more sneakers. Maybe I am actually set for life on that front. But these are dangerously close to making it into my shopping cart.
And in a pretty much identical color palette: this Ulla Johnson poncho (and a very cute, way cheaper version from Ann Taylor).
Oh,man… I have been so very close to ordering that skirt for several days now. Of course I have the wide leg pants in both colors so perhaps I need to take a break.
My skirt arrived Saturday- LOVE! So perfect.
I’m continually impressed with Everlane products. Don’t have the skirt. Want the skirt.
Ponchos….(sigh)…I know the Seventies are back…I simply can’t do it. However, I do sincerely admire those who can bring a poncho (or any other fashion throwback––can we say flares?) into this century.
On wait list for skirt!
So nice. Does anyone know how the sizes run generally?
I found the skirt to be true to size- I ordered a L and am between a 10-12, and it’s right on in the waist/hips. However, I am long-waisted, and at 5’6″, this falls wayyy below my knees- v what it looks like on the model. Definitely have to have hemmed.
Those kicks!
They’re amazing, right?
So happy you’re endorsing the poncho. I purchased a similar one, then had a “what would Kim France do?” moment. Now it just needs to cool down enough here to wear it.
You can never have too many platform sneakers. You never know when silly people will stop making them! I’ve been looking for a while now. I want to find them in person so I can try on.
I really WANT that poncho! They’re calling out to me this season, as well as flares, which work well on my broad-shouldered 5’10” frame. I can carry-off the drama…as long as it doesn’t scream “hippie art teacher.”
