Kind of an eclectic mix for you today, starting with this cute 6397 linen caftan dress, which I’d coveted in the store. As soon as I saw it was on sale, I pounced. It is the perfect thing to wear on a very hot day.
I know I just showed you a pair of trousers with a stripe down the side yesterday, but I’m really digging these too: they’re perfectly slouchy.
This woven leather tote will only get better with age.
This zebra-print jacket is rather bold and clever.
I really like the gold details on these classic Stan Smiths
This cool ribbon ear climber is such an attractive alternative to hoops.
The slinky material here gives this oversized dress a touch of polish.
And finally: I’m not certain I can survive without these leopard print pajama bottoms.
LOVE those Maison du Soir pajamas! and if it helps you justify – I have a few pairs of pajamas from MdS and they have held up SO well… I think they are all at least 3 years old and are just now nearing replacement.
The striped pant! Gosh, that makes me happy!
Forgot to say I received my Everlane “cropped” coveralls/jumpsuit/onesies and while it not make me a fan of the coverall/jumpsuit/onesies craze, I do like it and will keep it. As to fit––on my 5’2″ frame the “cropped” needs to be hemmed at least an inch just to make it wearable (more like five inches to make it cropped). The fit is roomy (so much so I might consider having the legs tapered just a bit) which is extra comfortable, but I would not say fashionable. It will be the perfect thing to throw on to walk Betty in the morning with tons of roomy pockets for keys and doggy poop bags––and that, my friends, is priceless.
Thank you for being responsible dog owners!
Sometimes I want to set up a camera and start busting neighbors. Luckily it is not too often.
I have poop bags in every pocket of every pant and jacket I own. Poop bags certainly proliferate!
A jumpsuit that [almost] works, c.w.!
I do love those Catbird earrings!
OMG the rag and bone pants with the stripe are so modern Kate Hepburn in the 40’s. And while I’m not a big fan of the slinky dress the rag and bone boots they are shown with are so what I’d like to think of as “me.” I guess I’m on a rag and bone bender.
I love that insane plaid caftan but it’s way out of my budget. In the meantime, I bought this last week and LOVE it and have gotten compliments on it from random women everywhere. (Yesterday at the airport “wow, cute dress! and it looks very comfortable.”)

That IS cute, Sara C! I’ve got some good specimens waiting in my Target cart, including this one: https://www.target.com/p/women–39-s-sleeveless-deep-v-neck-back-twisted-midi-dress—prologue–8482–red-xl/-/A-54536038
I can hardly believe that Clare V tote is leather! And I want to make the 6397 caftan.
Those pajama pants look like they could be street wear with the right choice of shoe and top. They are such a great color.
Over the past year I have purchased 3 or 4 really good dresses from Target. The quality has been really good and the fit has been surprisingly accurate on my 5’1″ big boobed body. Not all Target brands but Prologue and A New Day are worth a look.
