A perfect yoga pant that doubles as a real-life pant

One of my favorite teachers, Kate Posch at Sky Ting Yoga (aka my home away from home), mentioned that this capri pant from Outdoor Voices is as ideal for life outside the yoga studio as in, and she is right: they are super, super lightweight, comfortable as anything and amazingly flattering. (I know that it’s tough to call a pair of pants flattering and expect that to apply to everyone, but I am wide of hip and they make me look skinnier than I am.)

I am a HUGE fan of Outdoor Voices. They also make the world’s most flattering sweatpants. Also, I believe, it is a woman owned company which is always a bonus to me.

Too bad they only have tiny ones left! I’d love to try them.

I am also a huge fan of Outdoor Voices (I HATE pants. There I said it. Yet I really like OV’s Stretch Crepe Pants and Running Women sweats.) I am also wide in the hip, and OV pants all fit me well and don’t make me feel dumpy. (I felt very, very dumpy recently in another store.)

But, drats! I have been mulling over buying these since they were released– did I miss my chance? Maybe they still have them in store? I am, much to my surprise (and contrary to the OV size chart), usually a medium in OV.

I like the look but wonder about how stretched out the knees get with any sitting or or bendy activity. Most of my height is in my legs and most of that below the knee so things that look like normal capri or cropped lengths on others often hit at a weird spot on me and increase knee strain on fabric. Anyone know how these hold up to knee bending or maybe recommendations for other brands?
