Just the simplest skirts I could find
I have such a tough time finding good skirts, and I don’t understand why. I like them classic, without too much going on, and that’s where I run into trouble: they’ve all got something tricky happening at the waist, or they poof out too much unflatteringly, or the hem is severely bi-level or some such business. Is anybody with me here? I’d give a lot for more in the way of this simple tomato-red A-line number from Tibi.
On the plus front, I found this denim pleated skirt, which seems quite sweet.
I love a silky slip skirt—dress it down with a simple white tee.
A touch of laciness here, but not too much.
Just a brilliant genius green, and a very pretty cut.
This pull-on skirt from Everlane just seems so appealingly easy.
This has a little asymmetry at the hem, so technically it’s a touch tricky, but I’m including it because it looks so wearable.
One of you sent me a tip that Oak—purveyors of all things black and downtown-y and 90s-ish—offers plus sizes, and that’s where I found this perfectly versatile number.
