How about we check out some clog sandals?

7

The weather has turned positively balmy lately, which always puts me in mind of this category of footwear, which is so cute and—as I always say—provides height without pain. This crisscross-strap wedge comes in such a good, goes-with-most-everything hue.

These come in a variety of good colors, but I’m partial to the grey: again, because it’s super-versatile, and also nicely because it’s nicely subdued.

I’m seeing a lot of lower-heeled clog sandals lately, and these are cute in a retroish, 70s way.

I really dig these woven sandals, and can’t decide between the pink you see here and this more natural shade.

These have a certain Grecian appeal, and just the slightest platform.

I am crazy for the coral shade of this awesome sandal from Beklina, one of my favorite indie e-boutiques.

This T-strap pair has a Mary Jane-ish appeal.

These are such a good army green, and I like the double buckles.

The peep toe on this under $100 pair is sweet.

This fisherman’s clog from Madewell is really chic, and wearable with so much.

These open-toe mules have studs instead of staples, which I always appreciate.

And finally, these are big and high and clunky—in a good way, I think—and also perfect for a party.

On a different note: per your instagram stories, your living room is GORGEOUS, also HUGE?! Any chance of a home tour/ some pics? How big is your LR? Also the ceilings and he moldings…. Beautiful.

Yes, I agree Bobby, I loved the sunlight coming in and the openness. It is lovely.

Thanks, Bobby! It’s my favorite room in the place. I’ll give some thought to a home tour.

Love so many of these options, especially the Naguisas. I have the No. 6 criss cross wedge and I love the look of them. My only problem is when walking, my foot often slides off the base and then comes down hard on the back edge. This never happens with my other No. 6 clogs. I think the straps on these are too loose for me.

I’m happy to see so many unpainted toenails! Nude is the new red.

For about the last year when I get a pedi I only get my toenails buffed. No polish. Not even the safe for the planet kind of polish. I am really liking the look. And I think it is a better look for my rapidly aging feet. (not everyone’s aging feet, but for my own!)
