Highlights from the Net a Porter Friends & Family sale

11

I don’t link to Net a Porter often these days, because I feel like when they changed ownership several years ago, their selection went from interesting and surprising to boring and stupefyingly expensive. But there is still good stuff to be had there if you dig, and this sale—which offers 25% off select items—does not disappoint. I’d wear this cashmere cardigan from Vince endlessly, I feel like.

A foldable backpack that would be ideal for travel—when we all get to travel again.

I really dig the hits of acid green on this cute leopard print sports bra.

A fleece loungewear set that’s chic enough to wear out of the house.

Lauren Manoogian’s alpaca Capote coat is a much-coveted item, and one rarely sees it marked down, so if you’re at all interested, jump at this chance.

These carpenter pants from Nili Lotan look so nice and slouchy and comfortable.

And I like the clean wash on these Frame Denim jeans.

This quilted cotton jacket from Alex Mill would be excellent for layering.

As would this houndstooth shirt jacket from Iro. I do love a bit of houndstooth.

These high rise wide leg army pants would be fantastic with high ankle boots.

Why wear the same old boring wool beanie when you could go for this excellent houndstooth bucket hat?

I just love the shape of this leather clutch, and the fact that it is roomy enough to accommodate lots of stuff, which most clutches aren’t.

And this textured leather tote is just so elegant.

The Vince cardigan, the Frame jeans and the loungewear set.

I really like that lounge set, but if the model is 5’11” and wearing XS, those pants must be pretty long…

Same thought on the length of the pants. I’m 5’2″ which means an extra NINE INCHES on the pants. I suppose I could always sew the ends of the pants together and wear them like a pant/slipper combo.

I’d probably wear that Vince cardigan to bed – it’s perfect!

And I’m liking those Frame jeans. I’m completely obsessed with denim but oddly enough, I still haven’t found the perfect straight leg.

The entire outfit featuring the Nili Lotan pants is perfection.

Excuse me. I just had to wipe the drool from my mouth after gazing at that perfect Oroton tote.

Great roundup of classic and beautiful pieces Kim. I am considering the Frame jeans and wonder if anyone has input on sizing for the brand? Also, no discount is showing up for me – perhaps I don’t count as “Friends & Family” as I’ve never purchased from them?

Hi – for me, the discount showed up when I put it in my bag and went to check out. Maybe you have to create an account? I have a few pairs of Frame jeans and I think they run true to size.

I found that only certain items were on sale in a “special edit” – could it be that the jeans aren’t a part of the sale? I’ve worn Frame, I find them to be pretty true to size (For example, Madewell runs large, IMO. )

I thought it was just me -some of these picks aside, Net a Porter puts me to sleep. I couldn’t even bring myself to poke around the sale section today (for which my wallet thanks me).
