These are the only jeans I feel like wearing at the moment: as a rule, they’re nice and slouchy, deeply comfortable, and decidedly casual, which suits our times, don’t you think? They’re also one of the only cuts you can find with both high and low rises, and it’s increasingly tough to find any jeans with lower rises these days, as we have discussed in the past. Like this pair from AG, which I also like because it’s got a relatively clean wash.
The fit on these reminds me of the Levi’s 501s we all wore in our youth.
These have a nicely faded-out wash, which is how I prefer my black jeans.
I’m intrigued by this drawstring pair—the green denim is unexpected, and the fit is nicely relaxed.
By now, regular readers know that one of my only fashion don’ts is tight white jeans—I just think they look cheap. I much prefer something along these lines. Also, here’s a pair from Madewell that’s also good and cheaper.
I know not all of you like them, but I dig the raw hem here.
A pitch black pair is kind of 80s—in a good way.
These have a nice amount of stretch, which is always good in my book.
