Cheap(ish) and chic of the week

4

The woman who I enlisted to help me purge my extra room a few months back made me promise not to buy any more shoes, so I am reluctantly passing on these clog sandals from Madewell, which are dead ringers for this much pricier No. 6 pair. I have a feeling they’re going to sell out fast—Madewell’s clog-ish items usually do—so if you’re at all interested, do not delay.

You inspired me to go look at the Swedish Hasbeen outlet site, where I picked up a pair of sandals that look much like this (slightly more 70s heel) for a bit of a discount. I love this style of sandal!

No way I could make that promise! I bought two new pairs in London and had to stuff them in my carry on.

I purchased those on in Lipstick Red on Friday! How very validating. Kim, I saw you referenced in a piece about the The New Yorker piece on the magic of clogs – the Clogeratti. I was under the weather yesterday and in my sick haze can’t recall the source but I was really excited to see it.
