Brand I like: Sundry

20

Sundry is designed by a French guy who lives in L.A., and the clothes reflect this dual-citizenship status: they’re easy and casual in very California way, but tomboyishly French as well in a way that’s appealingly gamine. I think this shirtdress is pretty perfect, and it comes in a good navy too.

A sweet, gauzy button-down shirt with a touch of embroidery at the collar.

This floral print sweatshirt has appealingly feminine pleated sleeves.

A twist neck tee like this is a nice departure from the same old crewneck.

These are a good, cheaper stand-in for Nili Lotan’s Easthampton pant, and they come in a number of good colors.

A cute little crossover tee that’d be good for camouflaging any unwanted midsection bulk.

A deeply cool, slightly cropped utility jumpsuit that is also really cute in pale pink.

I like the stripe down the side of this semi-sheer white button-down.

I would wear this pintuck blouse all spring if I bought it, which I might.

I know the jury is out for a lot of you guys concerning shorts, but I like the length of this pair.

And finally: a fun shirtdress that could double as a beach cover-up.

Wow! Great stuff. The gauzy shirts are extremely appealing as you probably wouldn’t have to worry about wrinkles – just throw them on. I’d take the shorts over a skirt any day – I only seem to want to wear pants!

I’m always drawn to these jumpsuits/coveralls, but I’m a 60-something year old suburban woman, not a mechanic. It’s a dilemma.

Go for it! I bet you’d look so cute! And you’d spice up the suburbs a little! 🙂

You know what? Please show more shorts. And sleeveless tops. I find it appalling that someone complains when you post something not to their personal taste.

I love Sundry! Their pieces get softer and softer with each wash. The brand has a casual, easy, almost beachy feel. Each and every piece I own gets better over the years, especially sweatshirts. As a stylist, I feel passionate about standing by any brand I wear and recommend…..thanks Kim for sharing!

I think the shorts would be really nice for those of us with long legs.

These all look like things present-day Gillian Anderson would wear (and I mean that as a huge compliment) – I want them all!

I LOVE Sundry. I have their tops& sweaters. If anyone has any experience with Sundry jeans& pants please chime in -I’m wondering if they run small/large.

Thank you for introducing me (us!) to this line. I didn’t know anything about it and am delighted by what they have to offer. While I wasn’t crazy about the yellow floral sweatshirt, the matching yellow floral sweatpants might be in my cart. Sidenote: does anyone else feel like they are living on their couch?

c.w., I have a favorite place on my couch that now is curved in (dented?) to my rear because I’ve sat here for so long now! So yes, I feel like I’m living on this couch.

Those pants are just fab (like them better than the Nili Lotan originals actually), but sadly (like the NL ones) seem to be available only in below-average sizes. Grrr.

Yeah, as soon as I read French person living in L.A. I thought, “So, sizing stops at a 10.” I didn’t even bother clicking through; I hate getting my hopes up about cute clothes and then being disappointed yet again.

Ok so now I’ve just gone down a Sundry rabbit hole and have filled up my cart….all while I’m supposed to be working!! Love the classics with a twist vibe of this line.
