I’ve been referring to your June 22 post on 21 of the best Black-owned home design brands and boutiques to inform my purchases this weekend. Thank you! Some good deals there, too.

Great list! I’m still waiting (day 7) for my replacement credit card (fraud) so I can do nothing but drool, but it’s a really good drool!!

Most credit cards will text or email you when your card is used if you sign up. I did this because I was getting weird charges on my visa and MasterCard.

Oh, that’s too bad, CW. I empathize. In the last two months, there have been fraudulent charges on my cards also, needed to have them replaced twice. According to the CC company, fraud has been really bad recently. Hope you get your CCs soon!

Exactly, Kimbersam, both ladies at the fraud department at Verizon and Visa said that, sadly, this was not unusual. Sidenote: check your credit card statements! On my charge card there were three charges for very little money ($18.75, $20.00 and $32.00)––at this time of year charges you might not notice––this is one of the ways “they” get away with things. If you had a large charge (over $100.00) it would jump out at you so “they” just nickel and dime along.

Yep, and they’ll test your card with small charges before they make a big purchase. I am glad you caught them! Wretches!

That JCrew discount is not everything, as I have found out the hard way. The New Balance JCrew collab sneaks I just bought were not included. But they were too cute and too low in stock to pass up.

Kat, For this reason, I’ve has two sweaters sitting in my JCrew cart for at least a month. I just checked and they are still not on sale. Chaps my hide 😉
