Vince is offering an extra 30% off sale styles, and there is so much goodness to choose from, including a ton of nice sweaters. I’m a fan of this cardigan coat in navy, but it comes in a few other tempting shades as well.
Levi’s has big-time discounts—30% off sitewide—so I might stock up on some favorites, like their popular Wedgie jean, which comes in so many excellent washes.
Over at Adidas, type in the code SCORE at checkout for 30% off full-priced items, and even more on sale items. I like these platform Stan Smiths—a classic with a twist. UPDATE: these sneakers are, annoyingly, not included in the sale. But I’m leaving them in the post because they’re cute.
I’ll be honest: I’m not finding a lot to love about J. Crew at the moment. They have a new head of design for women, and I’m not yet sold on her vision, which seems to involve loads of ruffly pieces in unwearable shades. But it’s still a great place to score button-downs, and they’re offering 40% off pretty much everything (with the code word WEEKEND), so I might go for this playful striped poplin shirt.
Sale items are up to 60% off at Everlane, and I’m intrigued by this oversize blazer—the brown and blue color combination is just the best.
The newish brand Faherty works a kind of hippie/preppy aesthetic, and right now everything on sale is an additional 20% off. I really dig the contrasting trim on this fleece jacket.
The footwear brand Greats is offering extra 25% off select styles, like these very cozy-looking slippers.
Madewell is offering an extra 20% off sale items; I think this long shirt jacket is just as cute as far pricier ones from Isabel Marant.
20% off at beauty brand True Botanicals means I’ll be stocking up on their stellar Vitamin C Booster.
And finally, at Rag & Bone, the markdowns are steep—up to 60%. This poncho is so elegant and chic in camel.
I think the True Botanicals is new subscribers only? I have been using that since the beauty interview on EIF podcast, thanks!
Thanks for the sales reminder! … … … I am curious – do Vitamin C products always have a weird smell, or just sometimes? I guess this booster is a powder, which is interesting.
Best wishes to Jenn for a speedy recovery from Covid.
Love everything here. Any idea how the fit is on the Levi wedgie? True to size? Size down? I read they are stretchie. Thx!
If course the one thing I liked from JCrew via your links was the puddle jeans already sold out. Thanks for all of the great deals.
I guess I’ll have to continue to hold my breath that J.Crew finds its way back to awesomeness. New head designer sure is getting a lot of ink.
The Stan Smiths are not included in the sale.
Oh how irritating. Apologies.
Thanks for the links! Time to scoop up some Rag & Bone denim. I did pick up the Willa top from Faherty in the faded black and it’s really perfect. I say this as a chick that can’t really tolerate ruffles and usually hates button-downs. It’s just the right amount of sheer and it’s not cropped and I can see it going everywhere with me.
Love everyone of these – I was thinking wow, I have the same great taste as Kim. Then I realized my great taste is because of Kim!
I own that Flahery fleece (in cream), it is super marked down and I love it, super warm. And those Flaherty blankets, have purchased 4 of them – grab one if they are on sale. The Vince sale is great, really nice mark downs and they seem to have lots of sizes still left. That poncho is calling my name. And totally agree about J Crew – the usual, if you are tall, thin, blond and young, and work in fashion the all pink or lavender outfit with ruffles is fantastic. I am getting so much better about buying what looks good on me (not what looks good on others) and about buying for the life I lead (I wear scrubs to work and yoga/work out gear 95% of the time), not the life I imagine I lead (NY fashion week, Paris in springtime). Wow that was a lot of parentheses.
I’m late to the party but I feel the same way about J Crew. Just when I think they can’t get any worse they do. They used to be my tried and true place for simple classic clothing but now they look like an explosion of Candyland. I feel the same way about Madewell. I used to love them because they had classics with a twist. As my daughter, a long time Madewell shopper said, “they look like Forever 21 now”. I agree.
Love that Rag and Bone Poncho. Ponchos are great for airplane travel. Some great selections here, Kim!
I agree with you about the colors/ruffles at J Crew not a fan and wish they would go back to some muted shades and stop with the ruffles not flattering.
Yes, and I wish they would make at least a few of their shirts slightly longer. I know the cropped styles are trendy, but I need something I can wear without looking ridiculous.
Ruffles should be banned from the universe. I’m also finding consistency in cut/sizing missing at J.Crew. I ordered a pair of jeans at the end of summer that fit really well. I ordered a second pair of the exact same jean in the Fall and the fit was so different I ended up sending them back. Frustrating.
Faherty has become a favorite of mine the past couple of years. Their pieces are top quality. They have lovely blankets too!
I’ve bought some really great things from Faherty. I have a couple of their jumpsuits which are super discounted right now. They have a bit of stretch without looking like they do which I personally love.
I’m late to the post, but in response to the Greats shoes, I have these Embers from Teva and SUPER LOVE them. They’re comfy, easy to slip on, super cute (haha in my opinion). I loved them so much I even bought the short boot version
