I dig the wide wale and broken-in feel of this Alex Mill jacket.
Cute joggers for when you want to wear sweats but also want to look at least slightly together.
Such an elegant jacket in such a rich brown.
These straight leg pants come in a few other colors and look like they’d hang slouchily.
I want these sneaks so much—they’re so updated-old-school.
A quilted jacket that looks as cozy as it does stylish.
How cute is this little bucket hat?
I love a blouse with just a tiny bit of something ruffly going on, and this is pretty much ideal in that respect.
Baggy-but-not-sloppy army pants, for casual days.
These skinny cords have intrigued me for a while now: they’re well-priced and come in a multitude of hues.
And here’s a jacket that has a kind of British, Barbour-esque appeal, somehow.
I don’t wear dresses in the winter unless I absolutely have to, but I would totally wear this, layered over a long-sleeved tee and with tights and tall boots.
A cute little popover for wearing whenever.
And I think this polka dot shirt is pretty good too.
Those sweats and the Pumas are making me crazy. I lie-I basically want 75% of the items. Great post Kim.
The pieces look great, but unless you have skinny thighs….swish swish, swish 🙁 – No can do 🙁
Suddenly I am filled with a longing for corduroy skirts (the skirt that pairs with the dark brown bomber jacket, and all the others that Shopbop helpfully suggested when I clicked on the link). And I have to remember that I work from home 100% of the time now and don’t wear skirts & tights at home. But, oh for a midi length corduroy circle skirt, or a 70s-esque button front cord skirt to wear with tall boots in some imaginary life in which I don’t really work, I just walk around outside looking devastatingly chic.
I am with you, Jenny! My first project in junior high Home Ec in the late seventies was a plum colored corduroy skirt- so good- I wore it for years! Thanks for a fabulous post, Kim!
Like everyone, drooling over the corduroy Pumas. Love that Madewell polka dot shirt, so me (don’t usually love brown, but that is a good combo). I’ve also eyed this other corduroy wrap blouse on Madewell, good green color: https://www.madewell.com/corduroy-kinston-side-button-wrap-top-NB556.html
How cute is that little corduroy bucket hat, you ask? TOO CUTE! Living in Texas, the opportunities to sport corduroy are sadly few and far between, but I can make the hat work and look longingly at the rest.
Y’all, it’s cold in Florida and I am wearing those J Crew cords that everyone got tomorrow and probably all weekend, and this post is hitting me hard! Great roundup, Kim. Especially loving that Alex Mill blazer.
(Why is that Fjallraven with the adorable striped handles winking at me from the top row?? I can’t be expected to resist it two days in a row!)
THOSE PUMAS. Love them.
I own those Kut from the Kloth cords…they are fantastic!
Was just about to go for it but the color I want is sold out in my size.
Morgan, I have been eyeing them for awhile – I think Kim has posted them before. Can you tell me how they run sizewise? I am inevitably between sizes.
I don’t know what Morgan has found, but I have had these cords for years and I think they run a little big. But, mine are years old, so they could have changed the sizing. And they are quite stretchy.
Crap, I didn’t need to see that!
Cute cords! Clicked on the Madewell link and saw a model who looks exactly like young Claudia Schiffer. I hope it’s her daughter because otherwise the resemblance is creepy
