A better-late-than-never guide to the Nordstrom sale

This sale ends today, but the good news is there is still a lot of nice stuff on offer, starting with this spiff stand-collar jacket.

A Nili Lotan cashmere turtleneck that looks cozy as all get out.

I love a white overcoat, and this one from Vince is just so well-cut.

A cashmere polo sweater with an alluringly deep V-neck.

This crossbody hobo is quite excellently slouchy.

And I love the clean lines of this leather bomber.

A houndstooth blazer that’s prim in the best possible way.

This velveteen blazer is very slick 70s rock star.

These leather pants are a particularly good buy, and I like that they’re not too high-waisted.

A wool jacket with a cool camo pattern that I’d wear just as shown here, with a hoodie.

A plaid cardi that’s the just-right amount of oversized.

A handsome structured tote for shlepping around your life in.

I’m a big fan of the bright webbed strap on this Clare V tote.

This recycled cashmere and wool sweater dips a bit lower in the back, for when you need a little extra butt coverage.

These nicely laid-back pull-up trousers are a nice, pulled-together alternative to the sweatpants and jeans we’ve all been living in.

It’s the perennially popular Rag & Bone Slade blazer, in a really good miniature check pattern.

A cute funnel neck sweater for throwing on whenever.

Such a pretty, feminine pintuck blouse.

This clog mule from Veronica Beard is shearling-lined and looks divinely comfy.

Kim, several of these items appear to not be on-sale. Do they show up as sales items for you? Is this a multi-level pricing thing from Nordstrom?

Sorry about that, Val. Nordstrom is always putting things on sale and then marking them back up!

It is 81 degrees here and just looking at these beautiful items makes me sweat. However, who wouldn’t want that gorgeous white Vince coat?!?!?

The granny-boob-sag pockets on the houndstooth blazer are cracking me up.
