This woven tote from Madewell looks pricier than it is, and I’ll bet it breaks in really nicely too.
Such a cute quilted pattern on this one.
I dig the idea of a red bag, and this one, from Coach, is nicely slouchy and also currently marked down.
A curved leather bag that can accommodate all of your stuff.
The whipstitching on the strap of this leather crossbody bag is a cool touch..
I like that this bag has both a crossbody and a shoulder strap.
A chic little crossbody sling, at a price that rings in just under $75.
I have owned and loved this cute little number from Clare Vivier—it holds a lot more than you might expect, and I really, really like this army green.
A small, water-resistant sling bag from Fjallraven that’d be good for hiking—in the woods or the city.
I very much like the exterior pockets on this camera bag.
Such a cute scrunchy little bag from Rag & Bone.
The shape on this bag is nicely refined. I’d definitely switch out the shoulder strap for a crossbody one.
A quilted leather bag that would add a nice dose of texture to any outfit.
Here’s one from Isabel Marant whose French preppy look I love. It’s also marked down (though still not cheap).
Not going anywhere that would warrant the splurge but am quite drawn to the camera bag, logo be damned.
And now you’ve got me debating the sling bag in purple – I’ve always liked the look of the Fjallraven but am not a backpack fan: https://www.nordstrom.com/s/fjallraven-kanken-sling-shoulder-bag/5354342
Eloise, there are other versions of this bag out there. I have a very similar bag from Topshop from a couple of years ago which I saw on I Want to be Her (in 2019, perhaps, but I can’t find the post now). It’s smooth black nylon, logo-free, big zipper pulls. It’s a bit chunkier than the See/Chloe version, the front pockets are a little less refined, but it cost just $20 (sale!). Maybe w/ some searching you can find one on the secondary market!
As the proud purse mom to five vintage Coach bags, I am usually not into contemporary Coach, but that red one is pret-TY.
Last year ( oh wait, it was two years ago) I purchased a bag from your “Everyday bags” post and I still love it. I recently purchased a large leather tote and have looking for an interior organizer, any suggestions? I’m aware of the Cuyana insert, any others I should know about.
I still have and love a Clare Vivier Gosee Clutch in tan that I bought through one of your links years ago. It’s such a great everyday bag and you’re right! It fits so much more than it appears to!
I’ve been admiring that madewell woven line for some time. I should just do it! Always look forward to your bag posts!!
I bought the Madewell bag last week after contemplating the purchase for quite some time. I love it. I’m using it a lot right now, but it will also work well as a summer bag.
I went for Al Saints bag, ticks all of my boxes. Your reccs are always on point.
I like that red Coach.
Do any of you have experience with Minof History or 324Nyc? Pretty leather and I’m trying to be more conscious about where my money goes.
Oh, I’m swooning over both of those collections…. No experience with them, though. Minor History’s look quite small, and I tend to be indiscriminate about filling bags.
