The furry texture on this very cool option makes for delightfully blurry stripes.
This cashmere polo shirt is so damn understatedly luxe.
A recycled cashmere crewneck that comes in a number of good colorways and is also pretty nicely priced.
It’s weird: considered separately, both of the greens here are kind of a drag. But together, they’re pretty awesome.
Here is another cashmere option available in multiple hues and stripe configurations. I like this one best because I always like rainbow stripes best when a little—or a lot of, in this case—black is in the mix.
I don’t typically like a roll-neck sweater—didn’t like them back when J Crew popularized them in the late 80s/early 90s, and didn’t like the more recent reboot. But this one I like, and I think it’s because the rollneck is so small, so the sweater almost fits like a crewneck.
Just a cute striped cardi for wearing now through spring.
And here’s another one, with a slightly chunkier vibe.
Allsaints can always be counted on to offer a really oversized V-neck sweater, and this one is just aces.
I just really like the color combination here.
The hits of yellow here make this one truly standout.
And I am so loving the stripes on the sleeves here.
that green one looks like Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba! (I am compelled to buy it!)
I literally have seven sweaters with stripes in my closet as I type so I can not under any circumstances justify buying another. HOWEVER, not one of those sweaters is a cardigan. You see my dilemma. This is something I will NOT be talking about to my therapist.
Every single one of these cute. I own the La Ligne sweater at the end of the post in a different color. I get compliments on it every time I wear it -which was a lot last winter.Their sweaters are, imho, worth the money. Great quality.
I was just about to ask the GOACA community if La Ligne holds up. I like a lot of the designs, but the brand often gets mixed reviews on Nordstrom. Wasn’t sure if they’re worth the prices.
I don’t like the fuzzy striped sweaters as much. For me, much of the appeal of stripes is based on graphic crispness.
Aaaaah, that black and white striped AllSaints number up at the top is on its way to me. I want alllllll the stripes.
Aaauuugh, acrylic! Love the All Saints sweaters, can’t with acrylic. Acrylic is like pouring gasoline on the fire of menopause……
Funny, you say that, as acrylic (and many other synthetics) are made from petroleum. It’s pretty gross when you think about it.
