This is the final installment of my anniversary sale mini-series, and I’m pleased to report that there is some surprisingly good stuff to be had for cheap, like this lightweight V-neck sweater that comes in a couple of other good shades as well.
Spanx’s faux leather leggings are a perennial bestseller, which makes sense: they’re both super-comfy and kind of sexy.
What a sweet little PJ set.
Just a pleasingly clunky (but not too clunky) water resistant Chelsea boot that also comes in a very good moss green (click through to see) as well as a few other intriguing colors.
A Longchamp backpack that’s sort of the exactly perfect size.
These On Gossamer mesh bikinis are my favorite underwear of all time. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: they are so good—super-lightweight, totally panty-line-resistant—that I don’t understand why anyone wears anything else.
A snappy little jumpsuit in a cool, slightly weathered-looking blue.
I’d wear this breezy dress as a beach cover-up.
This collarless quilted jacket would be cool on its own or layered under a coat; it also comes in extended sizes.
A perfectly ideal white poplin shirt, at a price that won’t totally destroy you if and when you spill coffee on it.
A relaxed blazer that’s such a good way to add an easy polish to jeans and a tee.
A sweet pintuck blouse that reminds me of pricier ones from Nili Lotan.
Thank you – I’m a sucker for a good jumpsuit, so that one is on it’s way to me!
I have those Caslon Chelsea boots and they are so, so good. Highly recommend. They’re my everyday shoe in the winter.
Got the Chelsea boots and Longchamp backpack. Both are classics and you can’t beat getting them on sale!
Re: the Gossamer underpants. You’re a smart woman so when you write, “I don’t understand why anyone wears anything else,” I have to roll my eyes. I don’t wear them because (1.) I usually prefer cotton undies (2.) they don’t come in my size and (3.) not all bodies of a certain age are suited to wearing bikini panties. So even if they did make an XXXXL, I wouldn’t purchase them. I mean, come on. Was that necessary to sell the panties to your audience?
Hi Wendelah. You’re right, Kim is a smart woman and a great writer. You seem pretty smart yourself, so you’re probably aware that writers often use hyperbole to get their points across.
from your picks I can see you have a very natural style! Nice…Ive been reading about Kibbe bodylines lately
Love the sweaters and ordered the red color-thank you for the rec!
Those mesh On Gossamer panties are so pretty. For GOACAs that need to wear all cotton underwear, I highly recommend the Maidenform cotton dream boyshorts. They are so comfortable, no panty line, and they have enough coverage that I feel comfortable wandering around the house in just a t-shirt and undies.
