16 super-cute graphic tees

pam & gela tee

I thought that since yesterday I brought you a post on blazers, today I would deliver graphic tees to wear with them. Some of these are pricier than t-shirts really should be, but I’m willing to pay a little more for a piece that gets it exactly right, as I feel this one does: I love the tiger and the football stripes.

zadig tee

A lovely sentiment on a nice, slouchy tee.

allsaints tee

The birds here are sweet.

paradised tee

I just really like this color combination.

sol angeles tee

The flying foot is just such a good graphic, and who cares if you’ve never been to St. Barth’s?

redone tee

These Bowie-esque lightning bolts are just cool.

current tee

Current-Elliott cuts a very flattering tee, and this one is nicely tough.

You can’t beat a classic Fiorucci logo.

lips tee

A pair of lips is pretty irresistible.

neue tee

I just like the blue and black here.

sandro tee

This is kind of hippie-ish in an appealing way.

play tee

And of course I couldn’t not include the Comme des Garcons PLAY heart logo.

mickey tee

Mickey is a solid standby.

ramones tee

This tee is by a company called Madeworn that manufactures fake vintage band T-shirts and I never show them cause they’re too pricey and it’s fun to look for authentic band/concert tees in thrift stores, but this Ramones tee is pretty good.

rag & bone tee

This is just sort of dear.

levis tee

And finally: I’m loving this old-school Levi’s logo.

Did you miss my post last week on basic black pieces for under $100?

It will be blazer season before we know it

lotan blazer

Daylight savings time began this weekend, and I feel like my life has started anew. Sure, the weather here is still crap, but once the days start getting longer, it’s only a matter of time before warm weather follows. Which has put me in mind of spring jackets, and especially blazers. I’m looking for versions that aren’t just the same old navy and black, or that—if they are those colors—have a little something interesting going on. I still really want a velvet blazer, and this one from Nili Lotan is very nearly perfect.

topshop blazer

I like the pop of orange here.

cinq blazer

I can’t quite describe what’s going on with this ladylike blazer, but I’m a fan.

universal standard blazer

From Universal Standard’s capsule line of work-wear: A nice classic burgundy number, with smart three-quarter sleeves.

shah blazer

This looks like a Saint Laurent Le Smoking jacket.

miller dickey jacket

I like the cutaway silhouette on this Veronica Beard option.

slade jacket

I am crazy for this Rag & Bone jacket: I feel like you’d always look put-together if you were wearing it. I like it in the navy too.

eloquii blazer

I might switch out the buttons on this tweed number, but otherwise it’s crazy cute.

Another velvet jacket, this one with slick satin lapels.

theory blazer

I spilled coffee on my only white blazer, and am considering this one from Theory as a replacement.

frame blazer

Why not a leopard print blazer, I ask you?

lotan blazer1

This is such a good avocado green, and I like the shrunken proportions.

Yes, a wintertime post on sunglasses

larchmont sunglasses

I’m extremely light sensitive, so sunglasses are a year-round proposition for me. Even on cloudy days, I never leave the house without a pair because you just never know. And on days when I maybe didn’t get a ton of sleep the night before, I like them to camouflage my tired eyes, so there’s that. Also the fact that they can up the style quotient of any outfit. I like this oversized pair because it feels very movie star.

ganni sunglasses

And this pale pink is pretty good too.

ray ban sunglasses

You can’t beat a classic pair of Ray Ban Aviators (I’m also quite partial to their Clubmaster).

le specs sunglasses1

A fun and not-too-pricey variation on the Aviator.

le specs sunglasses

The fact that  these are ever-so-slightly cat eye appeals.

karen walker sunglasses

I love the purple lens here (and here’s a cheaper and similar option).

gentle monster sunglasses

You don’t see brown frames all that often unless they’re tortoiseshell, and I like them.

saint laurent sunglasses

These are from Saint Laurent and cost a fortune, but here’s a cheaper pair that reminds me of them.

givenchy sunglasses

Another splurgy option, from Givenchy, but that red is so good.

heart sunglasses

And finally: how could I not include these cuties?
