I looked at the Messy Nessy chic post and had to laugh at the asking price of “somewhere near $30,000.” Someone mistakenly left off a few zeroes.

I love the podcast. Any chance you have it transcribed?

We don’t, Paisley, but that’s a thought. Thanks for listening!

The Jeanne Mammen article had some book titles mentioned, which caused me to pull out my book title notebook. It’s the highest compliment I can give that GOACA is the website for which I pull out my book title notebook most frequently. Kim France and Maureen Corrigan are both too excellent to engage in a petty bibliophile competition, but if they did, the point would definitely go to Team France. I’m already in a good mood because we mailed off our ballots yesterday! Still, I know intense times ahead…Being the ceaseless educator that I am, let me share some useful information for planning purposes for stress management. A 2 by 2 inch square never was and never shall be a serving size for a brownie, and dare I say, any baked polygonal dessert.

I thought the 8″ X 8″ baking pan was one serving. They call them “squares”, and if you cut a piece out, they’re no longer square.

Similarly, I laugh at the Talenti Gelato container, which claims it holds “four servings.”

No. It’s definitely “two” servings. For me.
