Viajera, thanks for the link. My husband loves videos like that; it will be something nice to show when he gets home.
Annnnnnytime!! Glad to be of service!
Hey, those look good! I am making a note of it.
People, Ellie in the comments section from the New Useful Things post this week is asking about face creams. I am not good at that, but I know many of you here are … : )
I enjoyed watching this surfer get his board back from an otter (it’s very calm, nobody gets hurt): https://ktla.com/news/california/video-otter-swipes-surfboard-in-santa-cruz/
If even animals like to surf, then I guess I better learn.
Hi, thank you for the great links! Just one point of clarification — Adnan Syed wasn’t exonerated, he was released after his conviction was vacated. The state has 30 days to decide if they want to retry him. I’ll definitely stay tuned! (PS For those who liked the Serial podcast, please check out Season 2 of the In the Dark podcast. Gripping!)
So much to unpack here! Joan Didion’s funeral–was it the equivalent of the Queen’s? I mean, who could have a mourner named Boaty Boatwright? I loved all of QEII’s symbols; dogs, brooches, Hermes head scarves and boring black purses. I guess at my age nostalgia is taking over. On to KC III–I’m not expecting much.
