5 Thoughts on Friday links

After watching all of Gilmore Girls for the first time, (I know, I’m late to the game), I needed a show to watch, so thanks for the link! Perfect timing!

Totally agree with the AV Club on Atlanta, Severance, Somebody Somewhere, Better Things, Hacks and The Bear. Got S5 of Search Party, Pachinko, Slow Horses, Minx, Russian Doll, Barry new season, Undone on my list. Jonny Bernthal is a-ma-zing. Kim and Jenn, I’ll completely forgive you for thinking Matt Damon was ever beautiful, as you made it up by appreciating Jeremy Allen White’s beauty in The Bear. Surprised Station Eleven didn’t make the list. I would add Standing Up, writer Fanny Herrero’s follow-up about 4 aspiring standup comedians after creating her hit, Call My Agent. Best thing to detox with after Emily in Paris. And Girls5Eva, Conversations with Friends, All Creatures Great and Small!!!

On a side note – this movie – Bodies, Bodies, Bodies….is this Gen Z’s Blair Witch project??

Alsooooo, loved the EIF episode with Heather D. from the BW movie, believe she goes by a different name now..but wow, her journey is incredible!

Good selection of sites, Kim! There are still some reasonably priced Issey Miyake pieces on the GEM website (my guess is with his passing those prices will go up). Seems there is quite the tectonic shift going on in the world what with folks passing, retiring and causing trouble (both good and bad). I hope everyone has a safe weekend.
