I have been looking for a spring jacket that’s on the longer side—I’m feeling larger than usual lately; butt-coverage has become a priority—and this chunky wool sweater coat from Everlane is just the right weight for those spring days when a super-light jacket isn’t quite going to do the trick.
I am so desperate for this pink-and-grey-striped shirt—part of a collab between Clare Vivier and Steven Alan—that if it wasn’t so crappy out today, I might be heading right over to my local CV outpost on Elizabeth Street to make it mine.
Oh, these are crazy, I know. And they once again confirm my brother Mike’s assertion that my taste in shoes is too tricky. But they are just so good.
Hmm..speaking of butt coverage,
That shirt comes in a dress too!
I’m thinking yes to the shirt and sweater.
I like the party in a shoe as well🙂
Those Clergeries are crazy *good*. I say you get them explicitly for hanging with your brother. It’s practically your sisterly obligation.
I have a similar to the Everlane chunky wool sweater that I’ve had for years and I’ve had it for years because it gets good use. Smart buy.
Love the shoes!
(is it me or are there a number of party-on-your-feet shoes out there for spring/summer?)
Gotta side with Mike here…
My bestie since high school are each other’s barometer for “are these shoes ugly/cool or just ugly?” For me, these fall on the “just” side, but hey, that’s only one girl (of a certain age)’s opinion.
Those shoes are crazy good!
I’m loving long cardigans myself these days, but haven’t figured out how to best layer up when I need more than just that one layer. Too many short coats I guess.
I own and love that sweater coat! My mother commented on it so many times that I bought one for her, too.
I sometimes agree with your brother on the shoe choices but this pair is pretty fab!
Agreed, the shoes are “crazy-good.” If I weren’t financially fasting I would drop some coin on them. They bring wattage to us jeans and tee’s gals.
Those shoes scream “Boca Raton Bubbe” which means they’re perfect.
The slides are so perfect.
The shirt is great, I love a good pink and grey combo,
Love the shirt, but I’d probably go for the black/navy combo (not sure why it’s called that???). I love reading the comments about the shoe, but I’ll go with Caroline’s “party in a shoe”!
