Make mine faux, part 2

8

OK, it’s day two of the GOACA survey of faux fur coats and jackets, and we’re starting out with this wide-collared number that reminds me of one Nili Lotan made last year that I was obsessed with.

This brown specimen just looks like it’d be the warmest thing ever.

I like the red on brown here—it’s nicely unexpected and poppy.

Here’s one from Madewell that looks very throw-it-on-and-go.

I like the band collar here, and the Euro-chic vibe.

I dig the army green details here. You could even layer this one under a (roomy) coat.

This one looks really slick and 70s-disco-queen to me, in a good way.

And this reminds me of something you’d unearth in a vintage store.

This Isabel Marant Etoile coat is reversible, and marked down too.

Another really cozy option that would look great layered over a hoodie.

I’d wear this cocoon coat to the office, if I still went to an office.

Is this zebra print jacket too much? I couldn’t decide. But I do think it’s fun.

Another hoodie, in a very good blue.

A very chic, streamlined option from Donna Karan.

And why not a camel faux fur, I ask you?

This long bomber has a casual luxe vibe that I’m liking.

Boo the Madewell is sold out in that color. Love this post even though I live in warm Miami!

That Cole Hann (I like it in white as well!) and the blue hoodie are not just calling to me, but hollering in the most insistent way EVER. (and I so don’t need either since the high today is going to be 70) #climatechange Oy and Egad.

I worry that lots of these coats, especially the pale ones, will start looking pretty scraggly after a few weeks of winter! They’re never quite the same fluffitude after a drycleaning.

This whole list (p1 & p2) is so great! I’m so happy I picked up a fuzztacular leopard faux fur coat a couple of winters ago on a whim. It doesn’t get that cold where I live, but it’s so fun to wear that I throw it in at the slightest hint of chill.

Consider a woman-owned company from Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky….https://fabulousfurs.com/content–name-our-story. I really love my full-length mink. They have cute vests and capes too.

Loving the blues and greys that you have been posting recently, Kim, my kind of jam & so glad these colors are prevalant. And Pantone announced classic blue is the color of 2020.
