Feeling zebra prints

10

I always think of this pattern as kind of a summery thing, but I’m seeing all sorts of pieces with it for fall, and am really liking it. These Nili Lotan army pants are slightly crazy but I want them deeply, and in a way I’m not certain I can articulate.

A nice and slouchy—and also very well-priced—blouse.

One of the snappiest trenches I’ve seen in quite some time.

A delightfully loud pair of sneakers.

This blouse is on the splurgetastic side, but it’s the kind of piece that really makes an outfit.

Such a fun little coat.

This dress is just the right amount of girly, and I like the slightly acid-yellow background.

You’re killing me! I’d love the Nili Lotan pants, the fall coat and the tow blouses, please.

When I observe the most stylish women I know, they all seem to have “personality pieces” mixed in with their basics. You know…the one that stands out, is unique, and maybe even LOUD? I’ve done a great job of assembling a collection of core pieces, but now I think it’s time to have some fun!

A bit of a FYI…I didn’t see this post until I actually typed in your web site. When I clicked on your icon (under my “most visited”) the “new” postings stopped with your posting on boots. Don’t know if anyone else has experienced this… Love the zebra print sneaks!! Side note: I received my denim Everlane shirt which I had to return because it was too large and a smaller one is already headed my way, but I could tell from the too large one that I will wear it CONSTANTLY. Perfect cut, perfect weight and NO BREAST POCKETS. Can’t wait for my replacement to arrive!!!!!

Honestly, I would like the pants better if they were in black and white. But I don’t hate them, and, I sort of get it. I would get one pair now if you must … then wait and see if she does b&w. To me it seems like one of those times when trying to be subtle is a waste of time.

Well, I clicked the link … and now I don’t know what to think, bc it says it is called “coyote tiger” print. So is it a tiger print then? Hmm. That would explain the choice of brown I guess. I still think zebra colors would be more fun…

Been looking to add some spark to my very basic travel work wardrobe and since I’ve cut myself off in the leopard print department, it’s a perfect time to add some zebra instead. Just ordered the ‘well priced blouse’ to add to next week’s suitcase selection (thank you to Shop Runner for the fast shipping). Even better that I can throw it in the wash with everything else.

I bought a zebra print dress this summer and it’s proved surprisingly versatile! I think a little goes a long way, though–I’m not certain that I need A LOT MORE zebra, lol.

After seeing this I bought the “well priced” blouse as I had been given an AT gift card. I’m 5’4” and ordered a petite so I could wear it untucked and slouchy. It arrived today and I love it! Skews a little like a cool stripe/African print vs. strictly an animal print, which I like.
