It’s lightweight, it’s warm, and it’s often pleasingly fuzzy in texture: what is there about alpaca that is not to love? I am a fan of this boyish crewneck’s oatmeal hue and overall slouchy vibe.
A fun ski sweater from Xirena that’s marked nicely down at the moment.
Doesn’t this alpaca blend just look like the biggest and coziest hug of a sweater?
The colors on this beanie are subtly interesting.
An overcoat that says Boss Lady even when you’re just wearing it to run around the corner for coffee.
The colors here are delightfully spring-like, but I wouldn’t let that stop me from wearing it right now.
Everlane’s ribbed Alpaca crew comes in a number of good colors, but this heather black seems especially versatile, and it rings in at just under $100.
Two things I don’t usually adore—the color brown and Eileen Fisher—come together on this jacket in an appealing way.
This brilliantly shaggy Isabel Marant coat is priced so far out of the GOACA stratosphere that it’s a little crazy for me to include it here. Plus, it’s sold out in most sizes. But I think it is pretty glorious.
Just a simple ribbed cardigan from Theory that would be perfect with dresses, and is, happily, priced about half-off.
The 1st one in oatmeal is my fav. Out of my price range but lurve it. Also – I adore Isabel Marant and always troll ebay for pieces. would love a post on how to capture the look!
I’m kind of liking the slouchy crewneck look. The other stories one is VERY appealing.
An alpaca went into a optical store in France…
Not a joke; it happened last month, with much cuteness.
It’s supposed to hit 77 degrees today in Austin. bleh I did purchase that FABULOUS blue alpaca sweater you posted about a few weeks ago and got in some good wear time before the weather turned. Love alpaca!
I bought the alpaca blend sweater from & Other Stories during a post-work retail therapy session a few months ago. They had it in Navy in the store in SoHo. I wear it everyday! I’ve even slept in it.
