I’m going to try layering tops like these under a sweater or blazer for a little blast of springtime color—it’s the type of thing that puts a little spring in my step when it’s early and freezing out and the dogs need walking. I am suddenly crazy for yellow, and am dying for this Ulla Johnson top (here is a cheaper yellow top I also like, and, here is one in extended sizes.)
I just really like the blue and black embroidery here.
The ruched detail on this top makes it standout, as does the cobalt blue. It’s pretty cheap, too.
A really solid lipstick red on the type of top that you’d turn to again and again.
You definitely need a cami for this, but I think it’s so pretty.
I adore the print here, as well as the slouchy cut.
And here’s a rather more vivid pink.
The striped detail on the sleeves is a fun contrast with the floral print.
This looks so easy and comfortable.
The tie-neck here is both polished and a little bit sexy.
This is quite polished too, and sophisticated as well.
Another good red.
I’m pretty sure this is a Liberty print, but I’d like it even if it wasn’t—the color is just so good.
A slightly hippie girl top, cut in a way that makes it come off more sleek than crunchy.
This seems like an excellent date night option.
The other color I’m liking right now in addition to yellow is green, and this floral tunic just kills me.
I like this purple floral styled just the way they’ve done it here, with a black turtleneck. But it’d look pretty great on its own, too.
Now I really, really want a yellow top!
That Tink Kawai tunic top!
Love the red Barney’s top (but please, not with blue jeans.) Four years ago Prada did Hawaiian print tops for men and dresses for women with sporty striped trim and I’ve loved the look ever since.
Lovely and timely post!
Love this post!
Oh dear, looks like a visit to Topshop is in order…
I used to wear prints, other than stripes, and I even used to wear color, but somewhere along the line it stopped feeling like me. Give me dark and moody. 😊
I had to order the yellow one from Violeta. And they had a beautiful blue/green floaty floral top on sale, too. As I did so, I heard in my head: “Florals for spring. Groundbreaking.”
