This week on Everything is Fine

We’re having (minor) technical difficulties this week, but also talking all about fall fashion, early style inspiration, personal “fitness,” pop culture recommendations and Linda Evangelista’s recent VOGUE cover. Plus listener questions and so much more, so do listen in on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Please help us dress for our new bodies. I am Jenn’s height but closer to your age and am in denial about my post menopause body and convinced it is 90% due to genetics. I am, however, consistent with running and feel pretty great aside from athletic knee injuries.
I guess they are scars of honor.

Another excellent episode. I’ve said it before (or maybe just responding to your self-evaluating in my head), I love the banter between you and Jenn and I would be happy to hear you two chat every week. I appreciate your take on Linda Evangelista and the sad/weird British Vogue cover and spread as well as your thoughts on cancel culture which I always thought more times than not was a bit extreme. It puts us in a fearful place of not being able to express thoughts and feelings that might not align with those around us. Also, I always loved the Back to School issues of my youth, but having an older sister meant I was subjected to her outdated hand-me-downs.

Hey/ if this hasn’t been answered already- that European clog maker you were looking for is Bosabo
There’s a good market on posh mark and a small boutique in Miami sells the sandal online

They make a flex sole clog that is amazing. I have 3 pairs.

Finally catching up on 3 months worth of EIF…so this comment is re: episode around Memorial Day–Kim, you mentioned your mom’s personality changes. Possibly this could be depression or something–I and many of my friends have dealt with 80-y-o-plus parents needing medication for things like this. Made a night-and-day difference in my mom’s mental state. Just a thought! Sending good thoughts your (and her) way. 85 is hard.

You were talking about everything I feel about choosing flattering clothing for a body that has changed so much! I hope you will be able to find an expert to talk to to make it easier for us all!

On the 40+ womens’ fitness front, I’d like to nominate Alli Covington as a guest on a future podcast. She doesn’t have a book deal or a butt workout video with millions of views on YouTube, but she’s relatable and interesting.
