Our guest is the lovely Sari Botton. Sari is the author of the new memoir in essays, And You May Find Yourself…Confessions of a Late-Blooming Gen-X Weirdo. She’s also the founder and publisher of Oldster Magazine. We go long on what it’s like to tell our stories, coming into our own later in life, burn out, the joys of marriage, acceptance and ambition in mid-life. Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Late bloomer here too loving life breaking a bunch of rules and expectations in the wake of the pandemic…not always to everyone’s delight, but definitely to their surprise….a new entrepreneur at 56 (now 58…) with no intentions of slowing down 😉 can’t wait to listen to the podcast <3
I believe this is one of your top ten in the EIF podcast universe. Ms. Botton is so intelligent and open and realistic about her world and her life and aging. I look forward to reading her book. And a side note: there’s an article in today’s Washington Post about working women and going grey. Well worth the read.
What a thrill to be on one of my favorite podcasts. <3 <3 <3
From another late bloomer, thank you for this conversation. I’m in my mid-40s and still believe my full blossom is ahead of me. It’s validating to hear about experiences outside the cultural norm that line up with my own. Much appreciated!
