It’s the second half of Jenn’s and my Ask us Anything, and we’re tackling all manner of topics, from what makes us anxious and how we deal with it, to life at Sassy and Conde Nast, to what a typical day looks like for both of us, and so much more. It’s lots of fun, so listen in on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Thank you for taking my question and talking about working at Conde Nast. As a proud member of Gen-X I grew up reading fashion magazines and always thought how cool it would be to work for one. You’ve definitely shed a light on how miserable and soul crushing of workplace it was and while a part of me feels like the bubble I had built in my head of these places burst, I still find it fascinating to hear the stories. Loved this episode and appreciate the content you are producing.
Loved those two last episodes ! Great questions from the readers too, very thoughtful and interesting..
Another fun episode. I was reminded during the Sassy part of the conversation that my husband’s band was in the ‘Cute Band Alert’ bit of Sassy. That cracks me up no end. He didn’t become my husband until LONG after, btw.
Loved these Q&A episodes – thanks for sharing so much of yourselves! Would love if the Q&A could be a regular format.
Love the whole episode but esp the lowdown on the Conde Nast cafeteria!
I know, I could listen to those guys talk about Conde Nast for hours. That was so entertaining. And count me as one of Sassy’s biggest fans back in the day. My sister came home from college and kicked my butt one Thanksgiving when she discovered I’d cut up all her clothes to use for the Sassy DIY projects. I had so many empire waist dresses with leotard tops attached to slip bottoms.
