This is a mini-miracle

7

I have historically been lousy at applying concealer, and mostly avoid doing it altogether, even though the circles under my eyes can be tragic sometimes. But recently I discovered this under eye primer, and I have to say it has changed the game. You smooth it on after your moisturizer  but before makeup, and it de-puffs and color corrects and just generally makes the application of concealer a lot less tricky and more seamless. It’s also super-light, so you don’t feel like you’re wearing a cakey extra layer in the heat, which is nice.

I have been using this product for several months and absolutely love it! It has a really nice cooling effect, too. I also don’t know what I will do if they ever stop making their under-eye brightening corrector. It’s the only thing I have ever found that can neutralize and conceal my melasma without feeling like I am wearing granny pancake makeup!

I’ve never bought to use it on melasma. I use it under eyes. Hmm it’s not too greasy? How do you use it?

I’ve had this cute little compact of wonder for awhile now and it allows me to face the day with depuffed peepers, of which I am prone. I love the cooling properties that Caryn mentioned.

Not always a drugstore shopper, but the NYX dark circle concealer caught my eye recently. It’s my mini-miracle — you might want to try it. The formula is super thin, but totally corrects the increasingly dark areas around my eye. I use it on eyelids and under-eyes. Sometimes I use it alone under a little foundation and sometimes I still use concealer. Previously, I was hesitant to use concealer. I had to use so much that it was all cakey and obvious. You can use a brush or finger; it’s pretty foolproof. For a few seconds the color stands out and then it blends right in. True confession: when I first got it, I’d take before and after selfies, just for myself, because it was so amazing. Also, SO cheap!! Which is a thought, have you ever done a collection of drugstore products you use?

Just got a sample of this and agree – it’s aces. Headed to purchase the full size today. Thanks for sharing about it!

Finally got this at Sephora. It is truly wonderful. Keeps my concealer from caking up (no matter if the concealer is high-end or drugstore). Thanks so much for the suggestion – another home run from y’all!
