As I have mentioned in the past, I am not especially good at applying makeup, so I’m always searching for products that make it easy for me. I find powder blush to be so difficult to get right and often fake-looking (at least the way I apply it) and much prefer a cream formulation, like this one from Nars—the shade here is called Scandalous. It’s much more sheer than it looks here, and is quite buildable. Plus, it feels light on my skin, which is awfully nice right about now.
Agree, cream blush is it 🙂 I like Jillian Dempsey (the eyeliner is so good, I always get more than one).
I would love a whole list of wonderful blushes-and with my dry skin I am also partial to cream formulas. My vanity tray is full of them (holy grail FOR NOW is Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks stick) but for some reason I always want more! My favorite cheapie a $9, which is also cruelty free, is Colourpop Blush Stix.
Why oh why Nars must you allow testing on animals? You make so many great products…
It breaks my heart because I love(d) NARS—but I love animals more! And there are so many excellent, luxe cruelty-free options these days, thank goodness. The Westman Atelier cream blush is my current fav. It’s divine.
I, too, love cream blush! My current favorite is Tower 28, which is cheap and cheerful, very blendable, and has decent staying power. Also love the ILIA multi-use pigment, although the blending isn’t as forgiving.
Cream blush all the way. But I’m a Kjaer Weis girl myself;).
