I always forget something when I pack for a trip, and this time, it was a Davines product—which I spritz on damp hair to protect and glossify it—that got left behind. I was slightly bereft, as I couldn’t imagine another product doing the job quite as well. But I took a chance on this leave-in conditioner from Whole Foods, and I must say it’s kind of a miracle. It detangles brilliantly, and leaves my hair smooth and virtually frizz-free. And it doesn’t make your hair feel heavy and sticky, the way some leave-in conditioners can.
I want to try both: the Davines and this.
The Davines is really good and smells great.
Yay! Love it when cheaper (ahem) products do a good job and bonus points for being able to readily access them at the store.
I will definitely check this out as I love the Davines, but this is much cheaper and I can pick it up while grocery shopping!
I noticed the second ingredient is serial alcohol. I’m very picky about what goes on my hair. Alcohol is a drying agent. It dries hair out, making it frizzy. I’ve been using Love Beauty Planet conditioner (and shampoo) from Target. Currently, there’s $1.50 off coupon on the bottles. No sulfates, phthalates, or drying agents. Plus, the bottle and ingredients are good for the planet, not tested on animals and vegan. All for under $6. True love!
I’m using Trader Joe’s coconut hair conditioner and I really like it.
Oh this looks interesting. How “coconuty” does it smell?
Not very.
Eva Mane Magic 10-1 primer is wonderful! It conditions, set angles and defrizzes without being too heavy. I bought mine at Costco but I’m not sure if they carry it anymore
On a side note I always click the box to register on GOACA to register for future emails and it never remembers me 🙁
Me too. GOACA never remembers me either.
OK, I’m on it, ladies.
I think Sally Beauty Supply carries the Eva brand!
You can find it for $12 on the Eva website — eva-nyc.com
